The Allens tell about their cruise from the Chesapeake Bay.

We had no emergencies during our return home from the Chesapeake Bay to Charleston NC, but our experience with the Plus portion of FloatPlanPlus.com was great!

Upon registering our itinerary with FPP, we received a list of participating vendors who offer discounts to FPP members.  This list was limited to the region we were cruising and targeted to our interests.  Following are some of the benefits we received.

We received names, and address of several participating chandlery stores along the way.

A towing service was listed, which we used because we got a rope caught in our propeller.

We purchased fuel at a dock offering a FPP discount.

FPP listed several yacht clubs where visitors were welcome.  We used the iBoatingCalendar (another Zarcor product) and found a yacht club, which had scheduled a spaghetti dinner the same night we were in town.  Great food!  Great Company!  Great Time!

FPP mentioned several Tall Ships, which were in the vicinity.  Again we used the iBoatingCalendar to get their schedule.  These boats are impressive!

We asked for a boat insurance quote from a FPP sponsor and are considering making a change.
